Hey, great gift and nice knife, but my wife's pretty good to me too. Today's birthday present was an LED magnifying lamp to help my one-year-older eyes when working on knives.

That presented the great opportunity to crack, clean, and re-lube my 111, with its 48 1.5mm BBs--something I'd been wanting to do for some time.

It was finally cooler today, so hanging around at home in pocketless gym shorts on my name day, I carried my freshly tuned-up Shiro around the house and played with it's awesomely smooth and drop-shutty action.

Thanks, marcus52AR ! Every time I see your fluted Ti Native I get a bit of a pang. Of all the knives I've sold, that's the one I miss the most. It wasn't the best fit for my hand, but it was just impeccably made, beautiful, and the smoothest Spydie I ever held.
