I’ll see your fried okra and raise you some soon to be pickled homegrown. ;) Fantastic looking lunch and a fine blade.

I'll be curious to know your thoughts on the Swayback. Mine will be here on Thursday!

Thanks man. He’s a pretty good pup.

Interested to hear your thoughts as well. It is a unique and well executed piece. I’ll have to spend more time with it, but I think it’ll be a very useful EDC...very different animal from the traditional swaybacks. It has a pretty wicked thin tip on it and a super sweet hollow grind. Hope you like yours.

I finally forced myself to slide my Skinny into it's two-sided slip opposite its chunky XM18 brother today after having it along and doubling up since I first got it last week. Seems Dcdavis Dcdavis and I are of one mind today with our natural drop point Inkosi's. I was struck by how my Micarta's darkened from use and may just give it a bath later.

Little hot water and soap and they usually come right back to how they came from the factory. If I had to shed all but two knives that one and the black Inkosingo would be it most likely to hang around

My first Spyderco, and first knife I bought when I joined BF. Also my first "super" steel. Gayle Bradley 1, was $145 in August 2013. You enablers have opened my mind and emptied my wallet ever since. Chose this over a SOG Pentagon Elite. Very glad I did. It's been a while since I've carried it, and with my thumbs used to OTF'S, the lockbar no longer bothers me. Really need to bring this knife back. Flies open like it's on bearings. I've had very little issues with rust.

Oh and it's Tool Steel Tuesday.

I gave my F3 Python Micarta another wash last time I carried it. I've got a medium nail brush, use that with hot water and mild hand soap, and the Micarta does indeed come right back. My ACE Biblio could stand a wash too, so maybe I'll double up the bath like we did with the boys when they were little.

My black one is a 21 drop point Insingo and I know what you mean about those CRK Micarta inlays--they fill the hand so well with that extra girth and there's just something about that material's texture. I feel the same way about my F3.
