EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Australian Navy issued knife

I had to go back into your old posts, Scooter, to check my recollection that that's an REK replacement blade in your XM. I liked it then and like it now. Even without his logo, which I assume is one the other side, that grind stands out and just looks like Josh's work. Outstanding.

Having posted my flag-waving Skinny a bit before your knife, I got even more Hinderer inspired and grabbed my MP1 to double up on the USA vibe. That knife is about as red, white, and blue as I've got and pairs up nicely with my new XM.

It’s a great blade (those Skinny’s are pretty impressive too). One I hope to never get rid of. Here’s the background on it: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/hinderer-xm-18-3-5-w-custom-reblade.1620806/
And a show side pic of the clean blade.

I shared this over in the “show what you did with your edc” and the “what did you use your sebenza for today” threads but I figured I’d share it here as well. Proud dad moments. I know the hunters and outdoorsmen here will relate to this.

Little man and me went out an about today, exploring, fishing, riding, etc. Ended up about an hour and a half into the woods on foot. No where near civilization, toilet paper or a bathroom. My son tells me “daddy I really gotta poop”. I ask if he can hold it and of course he says no I gotta go now, so we improvise. I take my 21 and cut up half of my boxers for toilet paper. First poop in the woods, proud dad moment. Talk about father son bonding. Gotta go ya gotta go. No more hot sausage for him for breakfast. Happy fourth everyone :D
(And no he’s not pooping in the picture ;))
