EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

That’s great. I’ve had the same thought. We tend to do more chasing than bonding and really getting to know a knife.

Pac Salt mod with a thin convex regrind today.

That is a fantastic looking grind and finish. Love seeing the miniscule "scratches". :D

The green scales, and the vegetables make the picture really, indescribably satisfying.

As of 07/11; All BTI:
In right front pocket:
Old Timer 23OT four blade Scout/ Camp knife, saw cut Delrin covers. 3.625 inch closed.
Old Timer 280OT two blade (clip point and pen blades) Barlow, saw cut Delrin covers. 3.25 inch closed.
Old Timer 858OT 4.25 inch closed stockman, saw cut Delrin covers.
On belt, right hip:
Old Timer 25OT two blade slipjoint folding hunter with saw cut Delrin covers. 5.25 inch closed.

Sometime in the next week (or month), I might swap out the 858OT for a 858OTB. (The 858OTB is same size, but has real saw cut bone covers, and mirror polished fingerprint and smudge magnet "440C equivalent" (note quotes) 9CR18MoV, instead of the 858OT's "as ground" not a fingerprint and smudge magnet "440A equivalent" (note quotes) blades.

From what I've seen, only the "OTB" Old Timer's with bone covers and 9CR18MoV blades get the fingerprint and smudge magnet blade polish.
(I am not precisely "fond" of fingerprint and smudge magnets. I only carry them when there is no other choice, and I haven't taken the time to scuff up the blades with wet 220 grit wet err dry, from spine to edge, curing/fixing the fingerprint and smudge magnetism.)

Thanks . It's easy to get caught up in the new best thing but I am trying to appreciate the things I have more and more. I really recommend that more people give the 30 day carry/use a try. It really is quite liberating

Today was a lazy one, just hanging around in b-ball shorts and T with--OMG!--no pockets. I was also posting over at the ABC thread and thinking about my CF Sage Five for F-day so I clipped that little guy outside my waistband and headed over to the gym we've set up in the story above the woodshop to get in some treadmill re-hab time.

I ended up not posting the Sage, instead going with three Framelock F-series Shiros, a Folding chisel, and later a CF Franken 94(3)-1. Here's the Sage and F95R that I had with me most of the day just doing light stuff around the house.
