For $15, the #5 Higonokami has been through roofing, locksmith, carpentry and EDC with me. Bought countless others for friends and family. Finally got him a little brother yesterday. Hammer, satin and mirror family shot.

I was carrying the M390 integral frame Ti LionSteel ROK for several weeks that I recently acquired (and slightly "dinged" by dropping it in some gravel ) which I think is a very cool folder albeit a bit smaller than I prefer.

So, I just replaced it in my pocket w/my M390 Ti Reel Steel Megalodon which after buying over 300 knives in a very short time, ranks as one of (if not the) favorite of all of my folders based on size/style despite all of the Spydercos, ZTs and other better known and more expensive knives that I also own.

Just LOVE the way this knife looks and feels in my hand.

Hmm, North Carolina? My wife and I visited Asheville last year, and that bamboo took us by surprise... especially as it is native. Here in California, we have loads of bamboo, but it’s not supposed to be here, and it is like a weed. Prolific, and you can’t eradicate it.
