It definitely appeals to my eye! Now give it a 4" blade, a thumbdisc and some green canvas micarta scales and I'm sold!!

Sounds like you want an Emerson Appalachian with aftermarket scales.

I had to choose a knife to carry to my medical appointment this morning and picked something light, gentlemanly, and modest. Still, the Cheburkov Small Strizh opens quickly, is incredibly smooth, and the Vanadis8 blade is wicked sharp and slicey. It's a lotta knife in a little package.
