EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

What a great carry this Kapara is and it’s going to be hard to knock this one out of my pocket. I have enough knives to probably carry a different one everyday just shy of two months And I love every one and my collection is the best it’s ever been. But wow this Kapara is special . I’m not bragging because I know many have a much better and bigger collection then my modest one but I’m just trying to put some weight and value about how I feel about this knife.
So with that said it will be riding again with me tomorrow along with a Delica cruware exclusive.

Love it. Looks like a super blade shape. Will have to investigate the possibility of getting one.

I love my Kapara too; it's easy to carry for how long it is. (For example, it carries smaller than a Manix 2 with it's shorter blade)

It has a reputation of being good for food prep, but I don't think it's very good for cutting against a plate or board; not enough knuckle clearance. It's good as a large paring knife though.

Right, onto my carry today. I went into the office today, where I keep a kitchen knife in a desk drawer and my Leatherman Charge Al in my messenger bag, so the little Spyderco Squeak was dropped in the pocket for box and tape duty:

Thanks but that's like asking which is my favorite kid.

;)

I genuinely like them all. I have one each of the CF, green and brown micarta as well - and like all those too but prefer the slightly heavier feel of the titanium. Of course, I realize there is no rational reason for owning 7 of them. I will be keeping them and not flipping them for profit (some may become gifts for family/friends come Christmas time).

I think for looks I like the Trapper best BUT it feels thinner and lighter than the other three. I also like the design of the Swayback. Based on feel in hand and ergos that would go to either the Apache or Zulu.

What is cool is that each is different - Pena didn't just throw a different blade in the same handle.

I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any variation (blade and scales). They are easy to carry in shorts or as a small knife in tandem with something else in jeans. They cut well and the fit and finish is very very good.

PS: My favorite kid is....... oops... back away from the keyboard Clemington. o_O

Thanks for the review, I have an Apache in fat carbon and a full ti trapper. I really want a micarta swayback and Zulu. I love the trapper because of the clip point blade but the apache is my favorite easily. Havw a good one!

Ps: let me know if you want to get rid of a micarta wink wink.
