EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Today's pairing on this foggy morning: Southern Grind Bad Monkey and Kizer Inversion. :)

The Inversion is a fascinating knife, and I admire the line Kizer is trying to walk with it. It has all of the usual Kizer features at this price point: Ti scales, S35VN, chamfered spine, milled clip and scales -- just a classy EDC. But it's also an RGEI/pikal knife, with a wave (it also comes with a low-profile "thumb trapezoid," and swapping them is easy), and every curve and contour of the knife is aimed at that purpose.

They've balanced those competing needs pretty well. Would I want to break down boxes all day with it? Absolutely not. But for opening packages and other light chores, it's just dandy.

Despite the fact that Emerson can't keep the Elvia (a similarly sized RGEI folder) in stock because it sells out so quickly, I have a hunch that the Inversion will struggle to find its market. I hope I'm wrong! I love that Kizer is experimenting like this, and the Inversion is a really cool Pinkerton design.

Nice !
I actually have a Blade Forums 2020 knife Viper on order. It’s a traditional sporting Ram Horn covers/scales.
It’ll be a few months longer on the wait probably but glad I got in and made the cut for the order:thumbsup:

that forum knife is gonna be sweet! I was tempted by the rams horn as well
