I know it is thin for hand, but holy Christ is that the best CF layers pattern beauty opening milling!I carried the blue Biryukov today but I wasn't too happy with my pics when I sat down to edit and post after supper, so I pulled these out of my files. I don't think these are repeats, but sorry if I've put 'em up here before.

Nah, man, Ti, lightweight afGotta be taking all his considerable Spydie Powers to hold up that monstrous knife, too. Your 5 year old knows how to pic the right superhero.![]()
Man those scales on the Bugout are beautiful!! I was fine with my Ranger Green until now. That looks good buddyBig Thanks to my good friend @Retired UPS Driver For getting me going again with the Delica ! Mail call Delica K390 normal production run and Bento Box exclusive M390. Both are great examples and I love how all the new Delica’s have Sal’s sig on the blade

I feel your pain, man.View attachment 1433808 View attachment 1433809 View attachment 1433807 A little piece of me died today. Just got my mini crooked river yesterday. Dropped it today and the very tip broke off and the scale broke at the lanyard hole . BUT it did push me to heat color the thumb stud and axis lock bar and order the brass scales backspacer and pivot collar.
Thanks Brother it’s a dealer exclusive and it’s called Battlewash Grivory .Man those scales on the Bugout are beautiful!! I was fine with my Ranger Green until now. That looks good buddy
Nicest Bugout I've seen. It has a traditional wood look to it.Thanks Brother it’s a dealer exclusive and it’s called Battlewash Grivory .

Nice choice BTW with the Ranger greenNicest Bugout I've seen. It has a traditional wood look to it.
Yea the tip doesnt really bother me and honestly, im kind of glad the scale broke. The brass is going to look great and have a good weightI feel your pain, man.I would send that in to Benchmade and ask them to replace that scale. My son dropped the one I bought him a few years ago soon after he got it, I sent it in, and they did the work NC. They'll also re-grind that tip for you if you don't want to tackle it yourself. At least it looks like you didn't lose too much steel there.
It really doesn't feel thin in hand at all. The palm swell behind the two-finger handle choil along with the contour of the raised spine on both sides really locks the knife in. I've actually got you to thank for having this one, brother, as you sent me the link to the Biryukov website last December which got me looking at the #10 for quite a while, but it was out of stock when I decided to order. I wrote to Andrey asking if they'd make me one and it was built and shipped out inside of three days.
And yes, the way the layers are exposed on the deeply milled CF is just eye-catchingly gorgeous.
