I woke up to 7 Ruffed Grouse in the yard today...I feel like it is unsportsmanlike to step out the door to a shooting of opportunity...ethics and all that...
so later on in the day, we headed over to another area I have permission on and did a proper hunt...spooked him 3 times, and guess what??...
Got my B-day grouse today...so that was sweet.



ETA: Got the tail all fanned out in the borax now. Can’t wait for that to be done. Got a full band, and a broken band fan now. Time to edjimacate the nephews. Like a little show and tell.
