Seriously, some of my favorite knives I've seen on here. I desperately want a wood handled Delica or Endura!
Thanks, Billy, I'm glad you like 'em--I sure do. I started out with a blue Delica and orange Endura, both in VG10 with FRN handles which are my go to knives for carry when we're up in our Vermont woods and fields for their bright, homing beacon colors. They're certainly economical and useful knives, though VG10 is not one of my preferred steels, and, while the Pakkawood knives are twice the cost, they're also at least twice as much knife with their superior blade steels, excellent cutting ability, and full stainless liners. Of course they look great too. I like 'em even more than I thought I might when I ordered 'em.

Post'em as much as you want bro, I never get tired of seeing them!!

Thank you, sir. In this topsy turvy world, it feels good to exercise just a little control where you can. And there is the practical benefit of being a problem solver for the people around you who need a little help.

I almost always have a SAK with my edc. Not only are they classy and good looking, they make the user look less threatening, haha! I'm definitely a believer in pairing a small sheeple friendly knife with a larger folder.

All my mid techs live in slips--CRKs in their proprietary sleeves and the others in suede-cloth lined single or double eyeglass cases--and are in two drawers of my knife cabinet, Americans in the top and Russians third down. I haven't stopped to get a slip for my Spartan Harsey NW yet, so every time I open the USA-made drawer there it is--just staring at me begging to come along for a ride. As I had a client meeting and light duty today, it was a perfect opportunity to carry this beauty as it gets used but is still a long way from going on a job site or getting scratched up in the yard or workshops.

The knife has broken in nicely and settled into a solid 50% lock up, flicking open with a satisfying thunk, disengaging easily with just an ever-so-slight and reassuring grab, and sweeping closed with hydraulic smoothness. A number of members here and reviewers have mentioned that stuff coming out of Spartan is lacking in consistency of F&F, but it seems here that they've either upped their game or I just got a good one. I'll happily settle for that. :D
