After getting my beautiful example and seeing others I’d have to agree with you Mike.Haven't seen a bad one yet....
I'm a bit surprised you tried that with VG10, though I too learned how soft, easily rolled, and chippy that steel can be the hard way with my first Endura. At least it's an easily sharpenable steel and with what looks to be a factory bevel you won't be losing that much blade restoring your edge.
lol. different knife for every bottle till the collection is through.I see a new edge retention test being born. Even better if you have to open and drink them in one shot until you get edge damage.
Well it's a sad week for me as I had to return my custom that I posted last time. It had some issues that I couldn't live with. I'm not going to bad mouth any of it though because the maker was amazing about all of it and the main issue was a fluke. So while dealing with it I returned to the knife I have connected with most recently. My Maxemet Para 3. I have actually carried this knife for 80 days straight....

For now I am going to stick with this and maybe my Bugout from time to time. Something about this knife just clicks with me.
If anyone has any suggestions for very slicy modern folders (bonus for non stainless blade) send them my way!

I have looked at this one before. How do you like it?
