What knife it that? It is beautiful and reminds me of a CRK Mnandi but it obviously not one?

Agreed, it’s a great looking knife you’ve got there. Coincidentally, I stumbled upon the AB Rinkhals for the first time just a few days ago and was immediately drawn to it. My first thought was similar to Easyrider’s comment in that it does share a lot of design cues with the Mnandi.

I own a Mnandi, but I actually prefer the aesthetics of the Rinkhal...so much so that I’m seriously considering picking one up.

This is all leading up to the question; how do you like the knife? Is it comparable to the Mnandi in overall fit and finish?

Any thoughts, impressions or info your willing to share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I do not own the Mnandi “yet”. I was torn between the two but ultimately went with this one. AB knives offered more exotic inlays over CRKs such as Mammoth molars, Warthog tusks, Kudu Bones, or CF with Snake skins just to name a few and the built and fit and finish is as nearly identical to them too. Action is super snappy and secure for the slipjoint, which i like. But one thing to consider is the steel is RWL-34 is used on AB knives whereas s35vn is used on CRKs. Personally, RWL-34 is perfectly suitable for my everyday tasks.

If you find one at a competitive price, im sure you wont regret it.
