It's a neat opening method, picked this one up in a mall around the same timeI used to have a lev-r-lock. Wonder what happened to it. Totally forgot about that knife.
I still remember buying it. At the mall of all places, mid to late 90's.
Alright! That's sweet! Congrats buddy. My new baby. I love this knife!

Thanks for the kind words, Billy. That 24" axe was a sweet gift from my youngest son and is an unbelievably handy, well-made tool. Of course it didn't take him long to whack away at something with it and seriously ding up the edge as he can be pretty hard on tools. I thinned it back a taste with a paddle grinder and re-edged it to restore it to proper working condition.Beautiful gear, love the pictures my friend. Always wanted one of those Council Tool Pack Axes. 24" is a great length.
I've got two RHK Skinny's--that No-Choil Slicer and the Sheepsfoot I posted a little later--and you're quite right, as the action on them is indeed stellar. With the ball bearings installed, which is how they both came to me, they flip out as nicely and reliably as one could want and they drop closed nicely damped under their own weight. Hinderer got these just right and, while I love my each of my other RHKs for their own particular attributes, the Skinny's are my undeniable favorites.I bet the action on these knives are steller. They look amazing!
