You seem like one of the most up front and genuine people on the internet. It's rather refreshing.Lol, I’ve dealt with varying degrees of OCD all of my life. I’ve always had a canister vac with a 20-30 ft hose attached to the wall of my garage. Vacuuming my car was something I used to do every night when I got home.
When I semi-retired in my late 40’s and had waaaay too much time on my hands, things began escalating. I’ve always been compulsively neat and clean, but it gradually got to a point that it was beginning to affect our quality of life. I was on track to becoming a full-blown “Adrian Monk”.
I stay fairly busy now with a small business I took over 6 years ago, which, along with some therapy and pharmaceutical help, keeps my OCD fairly well-managed these days....but I still like things spotless. Lol, I may go 4-5 days before vacuuming my car....but most of the time I’ll wipe the console down before taking a knife pic.
Yeah, I know.....way to much info. I suspect my need to share all that probably somehow ties in to the OCD. Guess I can ask about it at my next session, lol.
That seems.... Fairly handy.....Just arrived today, I added the cord wrap and bobtail fob to this Nitro-V blade by @Daniel Fairly Knives

Very handy size and blade shape, ground thin and cuts easily.

Lol, seems an odd coincidence that I’m just getting caught up on the thread for the first time since early this morning...and I’m about to post two pics taken in my car.
On a quick aside, the car pics are the first thing I do when I leave the house in the morning. Throughout the day, if I happen upon a spot that looks like it’d make for a cool pic, I’ll take a few of the knife...assuming no one is around to catch me “staging” a knife photo. Makes me feel like a doof when that happens.
Unfortunately, some days I get tangled up in work and stretched in a bunch of different directions....so no “alternative” photo ops ever crop up. Hence, I gotta fall back to the morning car pic.
Lol, and today just happened to be another one of those days.
Viper Anso for a hectic Wednesday afternoon....

it’s a viscous cycle for sure and one of my favorite shows is Monk, and my kids say I’m too much like him.
one problem about OCD is that it’s not in alphabetical order

I believed you zeroed in quite nicely on your OCD. Clean and orderly is always a good thing. I wished i had an OCD... can’t even keep my workplace clean for more than 2 seconds....
