With good timing, you can grab a 3rd at a great price They’re popping up here and there on the closeouts of some of the online retailers, but they’re not up there for long

Looks like you're a KLR rider. I used to have one; great bike, once I got the oil burning sorted. Soaked up the potholes like nothing else.

I wonder what they're going to replace it with...

hahaaa that's cheap enough! I went through 15 9v batteries never did get the look I was after, I couldn't get both sides of my knife the same color lol ..

You gotta use full batteries all from the same company. For some reason anodizing seems to drain the batteries crazy fast. For example 3 9 volts is supposed to give a kind of Sebenza blue. After using new batteries for just 2 ano jobs by the third time 3 batteries was giving purple bronze already.

Also for anyone doing at home anodizing try the product Whink Ruststain remover. It will strip anodization in a matter of seconds off Ti. Just don’t let it touch steel, which it will etch also in a manner of seconds.

Here’s some I did at home. Hard to see but the Hinderer is much more bronzy-purple in real life. Ano is hard to photograph.
