I grabbed my Knifeworks Exclusive 551-1702 this morning for Micarta Monday. It's my only stock Griptilian--my other five all modded with aftermarket scales, stand-offs, and one re-bladed--but with M390, open-back construction, and hugely better feel in hand it's a far cry from the standard Noryl version. I keep meaning to write to BMK for a black oxide clip, but never seem to get around to it as this one spends too much time in the Benchmade box. If I don't get distracted, I should probably do that right after posting this.

I've decided to join the cool kids and only carry one knife for a week. Since I started the week with the micarta pm2, I might as well go with that.

Next week Thursday I leave for vacation, and will only bring one or two knives, so this will get me used to it. I plan to bring the pm2 and another lightweight knife for shorts weather. Maybe the Pm3, maybe the Civivi Mckenna.
