I left the house this morning carrying my small Strizh...but decided to change things up when I found this little beauty waiting for me upon my return.

For anyone interested, it’s a Forge De Laguiole collaboration with French graffiti/urban artist “Seize Happywallmaker”. This thing just puts a big ol’ smile on my face...kinda takes me back to the 80s. Also kinda makes me wanna order the other three knives in the series.

Yeah, I thinned it down to basically a zero edge at about the same height as the original grind...and to get it back to sharp I polished it back up to one micron.

Great work! Looks fantastic and I bet it's a crazy slicer.

TheFactor Ok, I deviated from carrying my orange and black Ultratech that I said "I'd carry for a while" but I received this Recon several days ago and just had to carry it today Such smooth action on Guardians. Hang in there Ed

It's been a busy day with getting the truck packing done, taking care of a couple pieces of business, making the 5 hour drive up here, then unpacking, getting things opened up, then settling in a bit, having our supper, and finally getting a chance to relax. It's great to be up in our Vermont woods again, though, for a five night stay after a too long absence and well worth the effort of the trips up and back.

Anyway, with all that I never managed any fresh pics of my Elite ELC framelock carried on this Wilson Wednesday, so here's a couple file pics from a few months ago.
