Super glad the healing process is going smoothly and well, sir!More file pics here for an IronWood Wednesday. I'm starting to feel a bit more mobile each day and have mostly set aside the walker for the cane while building my confidence in the rebuilt knee as the swelling gradually subsides and everything gets stretched back out. It'll be nice to get outside again soon to move around the yard, walk the circle of our unpaved driveway out onto our T-Base road, and get some fresh knife pics along the way.

Greetings! Back home from...well...back home. Been away from the forums for about a week or so, as I was visiting my home town (AKA “Shark Bite Capital of the World”) for a family reunion of sorts to celebrate the 90th birthday of our family matriarch. I didn’t think I was going to be able to make it, but at the last minute I decided I just couldn’t miss it; and with the combination of some red eye flights, layovers, delays, and plenty of sleep deprivation I was able to make it happen. It was a whirlwind, but we had a blast. Up for sunrise, out for stargazing, ocean kayaking, and lots of playing hard at the beach in between. We stayed right on the beach, and with the exception of leaving to hit a few of my “must have when in town” restaurants for takeout, barely left. Not much chance to snap many knife shots, but I was able to grab a few.
Carried a Pacific Salt, SE Salt Dragonfly, Victorinox Rambler (needed that bottle opener), and a Case Peanut just to have a traditional on me.

Speaking of delayed flights, due to my my early morning flight out getting delayed I was able to check something off my bucket list. We got to see sunrise on the East Coast in Florida, then when we got back to the PNW we were able to go see the sunset in the West on the same day. When all said and done it required being awake for about 22 hours straight after an exhausting trip, but it was well worth it and I just couldn’t resist the opportunity.
