The kids sure are lucky to have a dad that is willing to build them a house. It's "puttin' the roof on the treehouse" day. Got two new knives with me today, the CPK Kephart and SpydieChef

Thank you, sir! It's a labor of love. Was supposed to be ready last fall, until I broke my a bunch of bones in a bicycle accident. I think that the kids are probably getting a little impatient to be allowed back up thereThe kids sure are lucky to have a dad that is willing to build them a house.![]()
The beauty of Shirogorov bevels - 17 DPS looks nice and thin. It's Carbon Fiber Flipper Friday with my big boy Shiro 111. This is a lotta knife for EDC, but it pockets well for its size, has great balance, and, with a rather minimal liner on the lock side only, it's surprisingly light for such a big piece. I've reprofiled this one to about 17 DPS as it came considerably less acute from the Workshop, and, along with my tune-up of the action, a knife that was a pretty awesome slicer to begin with is now a scary-sharpl thumb guillotine. These pics are from the sheetmetal shop, taken about a year-and-a-half back while working on my in-roof gutter project.

Wow, what a great piece.I was hummin’ and hawin’ this morning, trying to decide if I should put my light and other carry in this photo as well…
Decided that Frank’s work is just too stellar to muddy up the photo with lights and other pocket randomness.
I’ll just leave this one photo of my carry for the day…it’s gonna get used, as Mr. Centofante would have liked.
