EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I was craving some Maxamet in my pocket so I've got the Sage 1 with me for a bit. I redid the edge with some new stones and went too aggressive with an 80 grit so have a little chip in it. But it's also probably one of the sharpest edges I've put on a knife in a while. Hope everyone has a good week.

woodysone woodysone do you use Epsom salts on your tomatoes (or other veggies)?
Only when they are complaining about those long days, I tried Epson salts last year and got fairly good results. This year I used chicken manure in the fall and Miracle grow bloom food. The temps are going down starting tomorrow to 75 degrees and hold for a couple of days, a lot better then the 95 plus this last weekend. But as you said, there's always fried green tomatoes.;)

I’m like you in that respect. I’ll mix Epsom salt and water and spray them directly if they’re turning yellow for no reason. It seems the jolt of magnesium helps them. About every three weeks I’ll put half of a handful around the base and water them in. At least you don’t have to worry about burning them up with Epsom salts or Miracle Grow.

I hope the cooler temps help you out. Mine wouldn’t know what to do at 75 degrees….they’re used to mid-upper ‘90s with 100% humidity. Lol

I read about people getting fall tomatoes….but, like Bigfoot, I’ve never seen one.
