In memory/honor of my Maternal Great Grandfather, W.F. Moore. (1892-1973)
I remember he had a shell construction Imperial Barlow, (or maybe it was a Colonial?) that he carried while working the farm. (Crops only, no livestock but maybe a couple chickens by the time I came around.)
I also remember a 4 blade Scout/Camp knife (and a all steel pipe knife with tobacco tamper) on his kitchen table when he emptied his pockets.
I don't have a pipe knife any more. I quit smoking pipe a year or three after he passed.
Anyway, at least
close to what he carried ...

Ulster Scout/Camp knife. (his had brown covers)

Great Grandpa Moore was a pactical man. He didn't see any reason to pay a premium for a name. Though if memory serves, he did have one or two Case farm implements. I think he had either Massy Furgeson, or International tractors though. No John Deere that I remember.
Anyway, I'm gong to try and carry just these two for the next week or more. No doubt I'll fail and add a stockman at some point ...
