Viper Belone to kick off the week.

I’m starving at the moment. Keep thinking “If I only had two slices of bread, cheese and mustard I’d be all set”.

Ok, I probably wouldn’t get it either. See, it’s the sandwich I grew up on….bologna (or as we called it “be-low-nee”), cheese and mustard.

Yeah, I know….it’s weak. It’s Monday and you didn’t pay a cent for the comedy, so you got your money’s worth today.

In know this is a bit of a stretch for an EDC thread, but I wanted to share this Cold Steel shovel.

I recently picked this up and have been using it for a ton of stuff.

So far this weekend it has:

Dug several holes in the sand for a sleeping pit and bonfire.

Chopped up small branches for a fire.

Stirred and moved coals.

Picked up junk and dog poo.

Removed branches that were overhanging on a trail.

Used as a lever to move a large rock.

After a few adult drinks, we took turns throwing it at a target in the sand, by lobbing it up in the air and letting it cartwheel back down to stick.

Yup, they rock...I keep one of those small ones in the car and use the heck out of the larger version around the house. They take and hold a decent edge which makes getting through roots a lot easier.
