Heavy Metal Friday

I grabbed my CKF SSE for Physical Therapy Thursday and ended up having to give the knife some PT too. When I first flipped it open I thought I'd put it away with some gunk on the blade--not an uncommon occurrence from opening packages, etc--but it turned out to be some sort of tarnish toward the spine on one side and near the edge grind on the other. I was initially fearful that it might be rust but I think it was some sort of reaction from whatever residue I must have left on it there the last time I carried and used the knife. Fortunately, a vigorous application and buffing with Flitz cleaned everything up and the blade looks just fine now.
