EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Somewhat to my consternation, my 31 is starting to creep into "why do I need some of these other knives?" territory. It's just so pleasing to carry, and so useful to when used.

That's how I feel about my Umnumzaan, it would greatly simplify things...

This is an Ember 3.5 & Ember 2.5. Been waiting a while for these. Glad they arrived in time for hunt season. Josh clocked the star mosaics perfectly for me.

Yup….that’s exactly why I stopped wiping my blades on my sleeves and pant legs. Took me a while to make the connection too.

But on a serious note, that couldn’t have been pleasant. Hope that wasn’t part of your recent bout with injury. Regardless, looks like it’s healing well. Like my t-shirt says….”Scars are like tattoos…but with much better stories!”

Tripped on a 15lb dumbbell, fell over an electric radiator, then slammed my knees, head and shoulder into a file cabinet, then blacked out and hit the floor. 9 days in the hospital.

Resultant scars from my 3rd degree burns in August. 7 total burns on the left inner calf, two burn on the right outer ankle, one of which was so bad it's still healing.

As far as scars having better stories than tattoos...that's mostly the case as I'm covered in massive scars (literally head to foot) but my first tattoo was part of a hell of a story involving a weekend in Vegas. A weekend in which I was "escorted" from the Monte Carlo and then cussed out a street preacher.

I'm 6'4" 255lbs. When I fall it's not pretty. I busted all four casters on the radiator and left several dents in the file cabinet.

The worst part has been going to wound care every week to have to dead skin removed. So gross.

Maybe I should just tell people I was mauled by a vicious guard koala.
