Washers>bearings

I like 'em both and despite spending $18.95 including shipping today to get the proper TriWay kit for the Firetac to give me the chance to try the BBs, I'm guessing I'll likely go back to the PBs as the knife is deliciously buttery smooth on them. It may be worth noting as long as we're at it that all washers are bearings but no ball bearings are washers FWIW.

...and, on the subject of yummy washered knives, I'm carrying my sublimely smooth, well broken in PJ SHF today. In solidarity with our friend Z Zeroedin , I am also declaring this Friday to be a Spartan Saturday.

Having resigned myself to the fact that my timing on the BB “Yeager M” drops just sucks nuts….I’ve moved on to my “Plan B”.

I’ve been intrigued by the Mini Buster for a long time, and to my eye it’s similar enough to keep my aesthetic cravings for the Yeager at bay.

So far I’m really enjoying this one. Enough so that I think I’d like to send it out for some embellishment. Just gotta figure out what I want to have done…
