I really kinda liked my Spyderco Southard, especially after changing out its stabby stock clip. Nice design, great blade shape and steel, and typically excellent Taichung F&F. I found the Coyote (or whatever) scales meh at best and woulda changed 'em out, but I was never real happy with the knife's flipping action and ended up selling it. I gotta say, though, I've seen a few blacked-out ones like yours, Drew, and that's one handsome knife in your hand there, brother.

Meanwhile, I almost made it a whole week before re-pocketing the new-to-me Southard Tolk after carrying it the first five days I had it. (That's 5 on and 5 off, actually ). Oddly, I was quite pleased that it came pre-snail-trailed as it's much to good a knife to be a drawer queen instead of a regular user. I've certainly added to its beauty marks already.
