EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I had completely given up on CRKT - bad QC, horrible steel choices, crappy heat treats, etc, etc...

Then I saw the Pilar III in D2. I was really hesitant at first - convinced they were gonna have crappy fake D2, or a horrible heat treat.

But this knife was inexpensive enough, and the reviewers seem to all like it, so gave it a chance.

I have sharpened it twice (always seems to take me two sharpenings to completely fix a factory edge) and it certainly sharpens like D2. And even the first sharpening held its edge well and had decent cutting performance. Cuts like a scalpel after two :) It has lived in my pocket since the day I got it and I am very happy with it so far!

(btw, not sure what it up with that crappy picture, but the edge is very clean in person)
