Hardly slept last night, appointment today downtown with the shoulder surgeon. It's been six months since I last saw him, and with physical therapy and the chiropractor (he does physical therapy stuff to correct posture and keep the back and ab muscles holding the spine in better alignment) I have about 80% range of motion and the surgeon said I may never need the replacement now.

I thought I was be going to be scheduling surgery. I'm so tired I decided I wasn't up to driving for 2 hours in rush hour (hospital is 45 miles from home) so I got a hotel. It's also a little bit to celebrate.

Lord have mercy on anyone who breaks into my hotel room though.

I've been going through my collection trying to decide what to keep and what to release. I stopped carrying my Bugout when the springs broke in it and I lost all confidence in it after having carried it exclusively for around a year. Put it back in my pocket a few days ago and sort of fell in love all over again....
