I like the slim, its close to shiro f95 in size, but with thinner blade stock, and feels a little lighter. That being said, I prefer the sting. It replaced my neon completely. How you liking the Slim? I’m thinking about either the Slim or Sting. Having a hard time deciding! I’ve never had a Herman before.
Thanks G2 great pics!!One ofHorsewright Dave Ferry's Gordo models in Damascus with stag and turquoise spacer, I changed out the raw hide lanyard to a paracord one but kept the turquoise bead that it came with, handy for my use at least.

Having spent about an hour-and-a-half catching up for Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and most of today, I'll venture to agree with Murph here. As much as I enjoy the smoothness and hydraulic feel of my CRKs, I must say that I find my two SHF's to possess at least a taste more of those qualities. My Northwest Coast Edition was brand new and took a bit to break in, but my older PJ came to me as the third owner and the action just blew me away. Another new one that's right there for hydrau-smoothness is the Firetac, a TriWay RHK that arrived with the PB washers installed. Not going to lie, but this SHF is quickly becoming my favorite knife, even over the Sebenza and my Shiro. It is so wickedly smooth now, it’s hard to describe how awesome it is.

Is that a hint of recurve in your SHF? Or just an optical illusion?
Here, I'll beg to disagree with my friend as I've always had the sense that both of mine did have just "a hint of a recurve" and, putting a straight edge on both, have found that indeed to be the case. The lack of a sharpening choil on both makes that appearance more profound as well as making it more likely that subsequent sharpenings will make that feature even more profound. Perhaps Murph's new factory Dama blade does have a straight run from ricasso to belly. Whatever, that blade looks great with the Sugar Skulls handle, brother.Optical illusion!
