Rainy Saturday. I was supposed to be shore fishing but I'll take relaxing on the porch to the sound of the rain. It's the carbon fiber inlaid Inkosi in the pocket today. Hope everyone is having a good one!

Wet, windy, and nasty day today. Was going to go for a hike with the boy this morning but it’s to nasty, so we went to Cabelas instead and spent way to much money on ammo. Was surprised they had so much, so went kind of crazy, might be a while until they get such a big selection in again. Going to play inside the rest of the day.

Thanks! The scales are from amplify edc, originally they had the trout graphic on just the presentation scale. I told the owner I would prefer if they had the graphic on both sides, he agreed and re-did the whole run that way. I took the clip off though, to avoid maybe rubbing it off. I already thought this knife looked like a little fish.

Cool BM for sure, but I know it killed you to put one of those “Giant Russians aside for a smaller American piece” You might be on the same watchlist as Oklahoma Outlaw !

My accumulation of Spydies, Benchmades, CRKs, RHKs, ZTs, and single pieces by numerous American makers far outweighs the content of my Russian drawer, though I suppose there is a certain subversive tendency there. Oklahoma Outlaw , Mr.sig239 , myself, and several others here will have a great time in the back of the paddy wagon checking out each others' knife phone pics when they come and get us.

...and speaking of my true colors, my son K joined my buddy and I for a half day working on replacing our red cedar roof. Check out the patina on the back of this copper apron extension that they removed when they stripped up to the bottom of the chimney. The roof is 40+ years old and this was added maybe 5 years in, exposed to moisture and the tannic acid leaching out of the shingles. With the recent conversations here regarding the smoothness of SHFs, I made this an All-American Spartan Saturday with one of my favorite work knives.
