My little girl was in the hospital for a persistent fever. Got her home after a long night but she is ok we just need to monitor her closely. She currently singing along to the TV in the next room so I think she's on the mend

Thank you. They turned the power back on last night, but it only was on for about 10-20mins (enough time to boil water for tea) and then right back out. It is still out this morning. We lost some siding off the house, so I will be fixing that today. A bunch of trees down. Welcome to the North!! Ha!

Currently sitting in my truck charging the laptop and my phone. Haha. Oh the joys!!

Waking up everyday is a blessing.

Went for a drive and found the culprit today…


Went for a walk through most of the trails today…lots of branches…a lot of tree tops broken off, and three trees I will need to deal with tomorrow. One is quite large and precariously caught up in a medium sized maple leaning over the driveway.

I’ll walk the rest of the trails in the morning, and see if there is any more down. Luckily our home and outbuilding was left unscathed…other than the siding the wind ripped off. Wife and I got that all sewn back up this afternoon.



I want to thank you all for your good thoughts and well wishes. You folks are great. I’m not the kind of guy who gets freaked out easily, but I did send up a prayer during these two windstorms.
