EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Wild mushrooms, wild eggs Today :^D

In anticipation of a new SHF 3.25” that was supposed to ship today, I’m starting a run of “Made in the USA” knives.

So here’s the wager; with shipping being what it is right now, assuming I carry a different knife every day…..will the Spartan arrive before or after I’ve gotten through all of my USA made blades?

The betting window is now open.

McNees Monday to kick things off….

I keep eyeing those McNees, they're very nice. I wish they made a 3.5 inch version!

Honestly, I think the design begs for a longer blade (for some reason I thought he offered one, but I guess not). Overall it’s a really well-made knife; but at this size it can be extremely difficult to get a grip that allows for easy opening. Any pressure on the clip or lock and the blade refuses to deploy….regardless of how much ya’ cuss at it.

It took me quite a while to get proficient with it, but if you’ve got normal sized mitts and like quick action….know it’s not gonna happen. Definitely a slow-roll or wrist-snap opener….for me, at least.

I was PMing with a friend here yesterday comparing three knives he was pondering--Inkosi, Spartan Harsey, and Southard Tolk--and figured I'd go with the CRK this morning. I had to choose between my drop point natural Micarta and the Inkosingo, but went with the latter as the Plain Jane seemed more apt for Titanium Tuesday given its larger exposed surface of that material.

There's actually a little extra Ti on this knife with its Jekyll to Hyde matching backspacer. I've got the polished version on my NM Sebenza 31 too and would really like to add one to the NM Inkosi as well.

I put my newest straight to work. Love the sheath and ease of carry with this velcro belt. I'm in the warmer climates and I love to wear gym shorts most of the time. I just put this belt on without linking it to my shorts, hey whatever works! It's my recent yard work pal.

Really impressed with my first Bark River, it's a Gunny Hunter LT, cuts great! Went all out with the funky handle. Aloha all!
