I like the color of your handles, is that a filter or real color?

What Buck model is this? I like it!

632 mesa. was a special walmart only run....Walmart sporting department people asked Buck to modify the 622 endeavor for them.......put a plain edge on it and micarta handle on it. purchasing guy at walmart involved on it used to participate in the Buck forum and here. pretty sure the micarta handle was his idear or input on it.

its long gone discontinued and likely never to be seen again....in production again I mean.

Thanks man. I am jealous! What is the model of your Buck flipper? I haven't seen one like that

Awesome pics 👍 I’ve never seen a bear in real life. Which state are you in? Also , I like that Viper Turn.

Thanks. I’m down in southwest Florida (Naples). Much like the deer we have, our black bears are small compared to what you’d see in most other parts of the US.

We’re fortunate to back up to a 42-acre preserve. My wife and I love the wildlife. Along with the typical raccoons, possum, deer, etc we occasionally see bears, otters, coyotes, bobcats, bald eagles and an array of other animals most folks in the area don’t even realize live this far south. We have yet to see a panther, but every lake on our golf course has a resident gator living in it.

Unfortunately, land development drives a lot of these animals into the suburban communities looking for food. I was literally within 15 ft of those two bears with just a lanai screen separating us, which tells me they’re desperate and fairly comfortable around humans. Sadly, people get all worked up over the bears. If they start making regular appearances the pump-a-grumps will be up in arms calling for their removal/relocation. Roughly 85% of relocated bears are killed trying to make their way back to their previous stomping grounds.

So our bird feeders came down yesterday….and while I love seeing them, I’m hoping the bears retreat into the woods and keep a low profile for a bit.

MolokaiRider MolokaiRider , I guess you can credit Yogi and BooBoo with one pik-a-nic basket….but Ranger Rick is on the scene and determined not to get outsmarted…..twice.

its important to note on these bears..they like easy pickings. trash cans full of wasted food or even that bird feeder believe it or not. food is food to a bear. they come by less cause they were pushed out by development and more cause easy pickings on food. they can smell food far far away and really show up cause their is a food source that is easier than their native diet. its really that simple. their on your house or neighborhood, cause they know from experience easy food pickings.

not telling ya what to do, more pointing out its not the development that's pushed them towards your home. if there was no easy food source you'd never see one.
