It's another dreary, soggy day on-Cape so I went for a little orange brightness with my old school Hati on washers. I've still got my old dump trailer pulled up tight to the house as we've picked away at our roof restoration project with the last couple weeks off for the holidays, so it was easy enough to snap a few pics in the wetness right outside the front door.

"Golden hour" light made it look a lot warmer than it was.

I should have never bought this. It's too light, too thin, disappears in the pocket too well. The blade is a great size for most daily tasks and the construction is sturdy while the action is smooth. I should have never bought it, because now I am genuinely having a hard time deciding to carry another of my other pocket folders over this thing.

But today, and for the past few days, it's been the Buck 303 (circa 1985) and the old brass Zippo .
