Looks like they have been looking at Medfords. At first, that's what I thought this was.Honeymoon started with this chunky boy!

Its actually a Medford and Strider collab. 100% Medford made so it’s understandable that it looks like a MedfordLooks like they have been looking at Medfords. At first, that's what I thought this was.
I also think the price tag is a bit high, but I had to check out the lock…and I’m not disappointed. I doubt doing away with the included zip up case would knock more than $10 off the cost (WTH am I gonna do with this?), but I’m sure I’ll find a use for it. BTW, I dig the orange. After waiting a while to find the right one in stock I jumped on the Demko hype train. Quite impressed so far. Like everyone says it would be a much better value at < $100 but whatever. I like it.

Love that sign…if you need that for your info, you’re probably already in troubleWent the overbuilt route for a beautiful Wednesday afternoon.
I thought some of you northern folks might get a kick out of this sign at one of our local parks. If you haven’t been to southwest Florida, you might think the sign is a bit of a “novelty”…..but it’s the real deal. Any body of water is apt to have a gator living in it. They’re on the golf courses, I’ve seen them crossing roads in our community and they sometimes even find their way into swimming pools.
My scariest sighting was on the beach. A big-ass gator was swimming parallel to the shore, maybe 20 yards out. Fortunately there weren’t many people in the water, and it’s only focus was on getting back to the inlet. At certain times of year, the alligators living in the brackish backwaters like to head out to the gulf. Apparently the salt water helps them shed their dead skin/scales; so while it’s not commonplace, they are spotted along the beaches on occasion.
Lol, and you thought all ya’ had to worry about in the water we’re the sharks.

Beautiful handles on a classic.
I may carry my 710 later this week. For the first time in a while.
Thanks, guys--appreciate the compliments. Forgive me crowing a bit about that one, butStunning![]()
The 710 is such a great design that every one deserves appreciation. ThoughThought I'd join in on the fun with my wooden 710 but it doesn't hold a candle toalliuse 's Gold Class.
I’m drooling all over my phone. Beautiful knivesThanks, guys--appreciate the compliments. Forgive me crowing a bit about that one, butKeyman 's sweet scale-work couldn't be showcased much more nicely than on the 710-1401 with it's nicely milled and wicked sharp M390 blade.
The 710 is such a great design that every one deserves appreciation. Thoughalliuse 's is particularly gorgeous, I've always admired that one of yours as well. While I'm not the biggest fan of extra text and markings on a blade, that M4 black-bladed knife always gets my attention.
Seeing that it's a Throwback Thursday, I figured I might as well continue with this 710-palooza and carry my first of those as I drove down-Cape to get the long-overdue and annoyingly-required DOT inspection on the F350. That D2 bladed knife required a lot of restoration work when it came to me, making it a particular personal favorite. I took along one its two little-brother 705's for the ride--that one a user in154CM.
