Really liking the bugout micarta scales.

Already a week in quarantine, 2 positive tests, no symptoms at all. Apparently the vaccine works. It's good that you can go for a walk during the day

Wow! I had to look up Unkovsky Knives as I hadn’t heard of them before…..absolutely gorgeous!! I’m guessing it took quite a bit of time and persistence to land three of those beauties, they don’t seem easy to obtain. Lol, if you’ve got a secret little fishing hole you’d like to share and want some company….then again, I probably don’t have enough bait stashed away.

Again, beautiful knives. Enjoy!

Forgot one seems like the fishing hole has dried up for now, may be awhile until trade is opened up again. One can always try though.

Been carrying my Spyderco Druken for several weeks but it was time for a change. So, I chose my Spyderco Bradley Folder (GB1) to replace it.

Ooofff, gorgeous. The GB1 is one of the very few knives I've sold that I deeply regret selling. The original "heavy" version, that was the best.

I like those scales, where from if I may ask?

I actually get alot of inquiries about these scales. Kind of looks like micarta but believe it or not its just a worn green dye job over the stock tan G10 scales with a chip near the pivot lol. Been thinking about sanding the perimeter to fix that and give a little contouring around the edges.

Gotta say, given what aftermarket PM2 scales run these days, this is actually pretty ingenious considering a bottle of Rit Dye is what, five or six bucks? VERY well done, here. Like others, I genuinely thought those were some nice aftermarket micarta scales.

What I am calling my "Blue Line" Bugout. Felt it was fitting since I was a PO in my former life. I'm sure I'm not the first to do this but I put it together myself. Black G10 from Flytanium and blue backspacer from Rockscale. It is now near perfect.
