Midday mail call today, finally managed to overpay for a GEC '77, like it so much I'm not even miffed about paying twice the drop price. If you're thinking those look like freshly re-finished 100 y/o White Oak flooring strips that someone tore out, you're right. What it's hard to guess from pictures is how much they reek of cat p!ss from the tenants that rent my upstairs. 🤬

I put in a seriously long workday on this Spartan Saturday. I missed a couple days this week, my clients were down for a quick weekend sojourn, and I figured it would be a good thing to show them a little extra effort as their project has turned sideways with the discovery of their rotted sills and a very difficult repair.
