Reminds me of PM2 Tanto shape, the one on the right. Are those shapes any good to sharpen? I guess the PM2 tanto is CPM-M4 so, you know, that kind of goes out the window anyways, lol.
That reminds me of my Ontario SP-1, the edge on that is so fat, but it cuts! Good for chopping, though! I am excited to try 3V in a fixed blade.The folder is not difficult to sharpen, light maintenance with ceramic rod keeps it sharp ( CTS-XHP)
The fixed blade - it’s definitely more of a pry bar than a knife. They designed that one to be more of a blunt tool than a cutting tool. Tip has low angle - CPM3V. I’m guessing 30 degrees per side, edge / belly is around 22 degrees - it cuts, but not even close to a PM2’s slicing ability.

Oh, I thought that was a Chapparal! I think I finally see the Shaman that clicks for me... It never really has before this one.My first Shaman in CTS XHP steel with RC Bladeworks Burlap scales and MXG deep carry clip. An absolute keeper!
