EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I like to change something on each of my Hinderers, no matter how small -- and since the scale on the Orange Monster has grown on me, that means it's time for a tiny splash of copper. ;)

Compared to just a few years ago, the Hinderer ecosystem feels like it's been hit by the same everything-sells-out-quickly shortages that applies to the knives themselves. I felt fortunate to find this LBS, and it's a handy part because unlike the Eklipse and the XM-18 3.5 it's actually visible on the XM-24 when the clip is flipped to tip-up.

I took a bit of a rest day as these old bones are pretty weary from too many long days on the jobsite. I did go in briefly this AM to provide a little assistance and info to a sub- and to clean up the mess I left last night after working late. It was a good day for regular carry of my new Frieze, though I did take it out of my pocket when J and I had to lug this morning's delivery of a dozen lead-coated copper sheets down into the shop. The clip's already getting kinda marked up, but I saw no sense in accelerating that process.

May I ask: what is it ? - the one in the middle, above the cigar, the round, black / amber one?

My apologies for the delayed response but yes, it is indeed a whiskey glass - a Norlan Whiskey Glass glass, to be more specific. I got a set of them as a thoughtful gift from my wife. I might pick up another pair at some point, the clear ones - I like to see the color of my spirits sometimes.

So "Wooden Wednesday" you say? That inspired me to grab my Sencut Snap on the way out the door earlier.

Now that I'm home, I can appreciate a good meal and a good wife who is patient with me taking knife shots at the dinner table. Speaking of, tonight's dinner is fried chicken sauced with Melinda's Ghost Pepper Steak Sauce and Kerrygold alongside some garlic bread with fresh molten mozzarella.
