M390 Micarta Monday called for carrying the 551-1702 Grip. How about the awesome "patina" on the Tajima Aluminist I use for cutting insulation, which was on today's work menu? Far from anything close to an enjoyable task, but the long handle and blade extension on the knife lets me cut through FG easily with minimal exposure.

After seeing my T1 off at the post office, I was still in a titanium mood. So I finished out the day with my WE Beacon.

Then after helping my wife to clean out the fridge, I made a nice "leftover salad" of Colby-Jack cheese, Castelvetrano olives, and cold chicken fritters in a homemade habanero vinaigrette.

How do you like carrying a pistol w/ an optic? I bought a hellcat for this reason but I find it to be such a PIA to acquire the dot. I suppose I just need more training.

It takes dedication, a metric-F ton of dry fire and a good 1000 rounds on the range. After saying that, I won’t go back to irons.

That’s what I figured. I assumed it’d be an easy transition from extensive use with AR platforms & optics but boy was I wrong. I took it off after the 1st range trip and said never again lol.
