Still a nice blade.I haven't said...new one for me. toor merchant. smaller than thought by the specs I saw online saying 3.75" blade but its more a 3.5" at best.....pic showing it next to a zaan......

ehh, its okay. there are things I dont care for. the detent is so far out that opening it catches hard and makes your thumb slip off and if not careful you could hit the blade continuing to open. no detent ramping of any kind and that detent gets in the way of closing and requires the lock bar to be pushed ever further out that you should to clear it and allow closure.Still a nice blade.

the pivot loosens per opening til it settles on a bit of side to side blade play and stops loosening.
its just not made really well.....in design. I give it an okay at best.....I expect the toor folks will make improvements in time and make it a better overall designed and finished knife........
That one looks familiar!View attachment 1775360This thing needs some sort of Sebenza style graphic or inlay

That friction folder is really nice looking!
in fairness mine could be the only one like this. cant ask a dealer to check as the box is wrapped in plastic and I wouldn't think they'd want to remove that to check. its a decent thick mid sized knife and good slicer shape, thin stock blade. not too bad, just feel it could have been better. wont replace my inkosi or zaan even at the cheaper price point.Well, thank you for at least temporarily saving my wallet from emptying itself out again.
Yes, let's hope they make a few improvements, but... slowly enough that I can refill the wallet from the last purchase by then!
Been a while since I bought a “budget” knife and loved it (guess I’m a snob, haha). This Civivi Altus is pretty fantastic!
