Thanks ChazzyP ChazzyP - it was your pics of the Northwest Coast edition that first got me looking at the SHF way back when. To date, I think it’s still my favorite graphic they’ve released. Lol, can’t tell ya’ how many times I’ve had one in my cart over the past year or two; but at the end of the day my preference for smaller knives has always kept me from pulling the trigger.

The 3.25 falls right in my wheelhouse though, and I feel fortunate to have been able to snag one. The aesthetics of this version spoke to me the moment I saw it…and the knife itself certainly lives up to its reputation. I absolutely love this thing.

On the downside, I’ve recently become aware that there are a few more “limited” versions of the 3.25 floating around out there. Lol, so now I gotta hope the planets, my knife funds and a drop all align at precisely the right moment.
 
I’ve been carrying this thing nearly every day for months now, so I don’t post it often. But I’ve bonded with this MT more than any other. Funny how that works sometimes.

Speaking of budget gear, Dimashkieh Dimashkieh inspired me to carry this Harnds Talisman today. We were talking about Harnds in the "Surprisingly Good" thread. This is effectively a $40 knife in 14C28N with drop-shut action right out of the box. It isn't perfect by any means but it's a strong value. (Coincidentally, there was an older version in AUS-8 that also had drop-shut action right out of the box for like $35. It was impressive in the pre-Civivi era.)
