EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Boker Sherman knife.
How is the fit & finish on that guy?

This is my daily backup knife. I kept trying to reconfigure what goes in what pocket so as to not scratch up my knives unnecessarily from my keys, but lately I've decided it's just too much hassle as I've had the same stuff in the same pockets for many years and I kept getting confused on what's supposed to go where. So know she sits in the front right pocket alongside my key ring. The brass has got a nice stonewashing over the passed week.

F&F is very good - I wouldn’t call it excellent. There are small/minor voids in the micarta. At the price point I’d expect none. The blade is spectacular, which was the main reason I picked it up. The overall ergonomics are ok, definitely will give you a hotspot around the clip and edges of the grip with prolonged use. Not to say it’s not up to your standard knife tasks - it certainly is, but I have other knives that would be better choices for prolonged cutting needs.

The selling point for me was the blade make-up. Sherman tank parts in the blade? Are you kidding me? As a WWII history buff I just had to have it. I’ll be picking up the 2022 Barlow when it’s available for a collectible set. That marketing was created for this fool right here:rolleyes:. Honestly that’s the main reason this knife spoke to me at the price point. Without that bit of marketing I’d say the knife is overpriced by $75 - $100. IMO.
