The one on the left is a Lionsteel Daghetta in CF. They were discontinued when the “Big Daghetta” was released, I believe.

Been using this guy for 3 months to baton shingles as fire starters (needed about 4 per day). Don’t like coated knives usually, but am impressed how the Busse coating held up.

Yesterday was job site clean out day, which is never much fun despite its significance as a sign of substantial completion. This job has very poor access and I was flagging towards day's end but was thankfully bailed out by K who came to lend a hand and more youthful energy cleaning, lugging, and loading as well as providing more cargo space for all my gear.

The amount of oversized cardboard that comes with several cabinets, their accessories, and a butcher block counter is staggering. We often refer here to breaking it down with our knives, but even my super-slicer Hati was overmatched for that process...

...but, once flattened and doubled over, all that packing was no match for the 12" slide saw, becoming a couple contractor bag's full of easily recyclable material.

Benchmade 880 Dark Star​

Don't see any of those around much anymore. They're kinda kinda light duty, but are very cool Elishewitz designs. Yours looks to be in nice shape. I've still got both sizes of the Dark Star--my 880 was not in great shape when I got it with a horrendously "re-sharpened" edge while the smaller 885 was LNIB. Quiet has the Blue Star now.
