EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

How do you like that Peña? I’ve been curious about those Trappers and Doglegs.
I love 'em. I think I own more Pena FFs than any other single make of knife. The size is great for EDC (although there are larger versions as well), the combination of traditional look and option for two-handed opening makes them non-threatening and easy to use by non-knife people, the front flipper is super easy to use and ambidextrous, the blades are generally stout enough I don't worry about them but still slice very well, and on every one I've owned Reate's fit and finish has been perfect.

So, I just posted this purple Opinel, and my girlfriend promptly appropriated it. As well as the donut SAK I posted earlier in the week. I am not resisting, as any knife enthusiasm for her is a good thing in my eyes! She said the purple matched the green of her Sage, and she's right. I was like "Fine, just let me take a picture." This is her EDC, plus the Opinel as of today. Glad someone who is technically a non-knife person is now carrying three!

This says good, good things about both DLC coating and M4 in my eyes, not a lick of corrosion on the thing from someone who was just told "Don't put it away wet!" as care instructions, and would not accept oil on the blade, still very keen, been used daily since Feb.
Right after this happened, a random thought spurred me onto get another Sage 5 for myself, cause it is such a nice knife, as well as two more of the Dessert Warrior knives for me and another purp Opinel, this time for me to keep. Big brain moves *taps temple repeatedly*

Switched it up for Thursday

Do they do Spydernox/does any Spyderco blade fit in ANY model of SAK, without being a Grasshopper blade? It looks absolutely beautiful but the blade is 3cr13, and I would basically rather have INOX at that price point... or just pay for one of the re-blades in a modern steel. I however would prefer the Spyderco, particularly something that come in K390, that'd be the dream for me....
A re-bladed Opinel is another thing of beauty that I am attempting to get.

I am really desperate to know this, anyone who knows, please inform me. Plan on asking on multitool forum if I can't find out.

That’s just what I wanted to hear 👍
