EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Been carrying the Wingman Spark since Tuesday. Still one of my absolute favorites, with a 3” blade in a compact package that feels like it was custom tailored for my hand. It’s also my only knife with the Williams KickStop feature, which I find pretty cool.

Anyway, we’ve been getting some much needed rain this weekend. Neighbors may think I’m a bit nutty, but I have no objection to working in the garden during a light rain. Personally, I think it beats the hell out of 94 degrees under a scorching sun.

I carried my WE Mote today. It's a tiny knife but amazingly comfortable in hand for what it is. I initially stayed away from this model because the shiny back spacer stuck out like a sore thumb. What convinced me to take the plunge was a 50% off coupon for modding services at Way of Knife. I decided to go all in with matching scales and back spacer in stonewashed green.

Had a baby shower today so lots of packing to go though. Getting closer and closer to the big day while becoming less and less prepared.

Guess I missed the big news, so just wanted to say….CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

And don’t stress too much about being “prepared”. I think the moment you become a parent a switch gets flipped. Nature just kinda grabs you by the hand and leads you along the path…..and everything instantly seems familiar.

Now, the late teen years are an entirely different story…..but you’ve got plenty of time to prepare for that, lol.

But seriously, congrats! May it be a blessed and wonderful day for you and your family!

My Doctor makes Sunday house calls...

...though to be perfectly honest, he actually lives here.

After watching a very disappointing 2nd round NBA playoff game, I headed over to the wood shop to cut the rabbets in the door I'm building, put the Doctor to bed, and switched up to my old school Tabargan for something I'd be less worried about banging up over there.
