How did you get that? Release is supposed to be today. There is no more forthcoming information from Sanford. Like do the number of delivered units meet, exceed, or fail to meet wait list numbers? Will it be a mad scramble to net one? The lack of information has been maddening. Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks!

Final production samples before the hang up. He had just a few, so the launch wasn’t ready.

Launch should be 10am PST today— less than 3 hours to go! Final pricing should be $180, shipped. I haven’t heard the wait list numbers, but I believe the run is 250 pieces before he and Ray inspect them.

Thanks, R RBid . That info is posted on Instagram but who will get them is not. I'm expecting his website to crash today from demand for lack of an allocation plan. I'm also wondering why he posted them for sale with Sold Out at the cart. Sure it's likely due to his wait list exceeding the 250 pieces but is it first come, first serve? Or possibly a friends and family preference allocation? He could have done this a better way. North Arms and CRK both have wait time estimates when you order. A variation of that would have been helpful. Like giving the place holder a number.

I wish he'd read this.

Snagged!

I still don't understand how Sanford worked it. The order page was open for sale several minutes before the appointed time. No matter now. I'll stop whining.

Cheers!

He’s a one man band right now, and I think he wanted to make sure the site was ready before announcing it. Very glad you got in on them!

He may have set it up so that a wait list holder needed to identify oneself before it opened the cart. It oddly asked for an email again. Anyway it’s a guess.

I’m psyched. I wanted one of these for a while. I’m now very close to ending my knife buying spree. Two or three more to go.
