It's just a .22. Those are 2 of my favorites. Thanks for sharing.
Those are sweet! Not sure which I like better. The way he did the machining on the g-10 is super cool.Blue Monday!!

What’s all the brass nuts for? There might be more money there then your knife today
Thanks! And yes, it is very impressive. I think I may like Maxamet a little better, but it’s a close race. Cruwear is certainly more well rounded. That’s a gorgeous Manix ! Love the scales and thus far, Cruwear is my all time favorite steel in a folder.![]()
Thank you for the detailed answer. I don’t know how I missed it, but I wanted to reply even though it has been a while. Thank you again. And I’m with you, the blade composition is a strong draw.F&F is very good - I wouldn’t call it excellent. There are small/minor voids in the micarta. At the price point I’d expect none. The blade is spectacular, which was the main reason I picked it up. The overall ergonomics are ok, definitely will give you a hotspot around the clip and edges of the grip with prolonged use. Not to say it’s not up to your standard knife tasks - it certainly is, but I have other knives that would be better choices for prolonged cutting needs.
The selling point for me was the blade make-up. Sherman tank parts in the blade? Are you kidding me? As a WWII history buff I just had to have it. I’ll be picking up the 2022 Barlow when it’s available for a collectible set. That marketing was created for this fool right here. Honestly that’s the main reason this knife spoke to me at the price point. Without that bit of marketing I’d say the knife is overpriced by $75 - $100. IMO.

Wow!!! That’s a fine ensemble!
Gotta love the way a Manix 2 feels in hand, right? Love a PM2 as well. Thanks! And yes, it is very impressive. I think I may like Maxamet a little better, but it’s a close race. Cruwear is certainly more well rounded.
