Continuing on with CRK Week as my "in the mail" Dama 31 made another stop in its meandering journey from Memphis, TN to Cape Cod, MA, leaving Baltimore, MD today and crossing Chesapeake Bay for the Easton Distribution Center on the DelMarVa Peninsula. This is actually encouraging as It's on Airpark Drive so it may well be on a plane tonight and in Providence, RI or Springfield, MA in the wee hours overnight. There's the ever-so-slight chance a RI landing could get it here tomorrow, but a Monday arrival now seems most likely.

It's a good thing I've got enough CRKs to get me through a week's wait for a 2-3 day USPS Priority box.

I finished bending my coated copper chimney shroud yesterday and decided to assemble it over in the woodshop today, as there's more room there, the piece is pretty good-sized at almost 4'x4'x2', and I'll have to crate it to get it to the job site and up onto the roof. I had some cleaning up and rearranging to do first and used my Carbon Fiber Framelock Friday carry to slay some cardboard that needed to get gone. Nothing like a Sebenza for that....

Decided to go with something with a “happy vibe” to it after getting a slightly troublesome call from my doctor’s office this morning. Hopefully nothing too serious, but I hate when they call on Fridays and leave ya’ to dwell on things over the weekend. Lol, I knew I shouldn’t have answered the frikkin’ call.

Anyway, went with the Forge de Lagiole Signiture Series with scales inspired by French graffiti artist “Happy Wallmaker”. Just something about the colors and artwork that brings a smile to my face….and c’mon, if the name Happy Wallmaker doesn’t do it for ya’ I’m not sure what will.

Funny how the right “thing” can actually help boost your mood in certain circumstances. Perhaps there’s something positive to be said for having a materialistic streak after all.
